It is based on an integrated communication service, which:

The Meditel digital signage case

The aim of this project is to provide users of a private clinc with information on services, which will be added to the advertising and entertainment program. 5 players will be used in the different areas, each one with information on the dedicated contents, being general or promotional. The areas are:

  • Reception
  • Physiotherapy
  • Diagnostics
  • Radiology
  • Specialist visits

The display has been divided in three areas. The main area is used for advertising and entertainment and is managed by the media center. The lateral area is used for updates on medical services and contains ticker for the daily news. Both are managed independently by the responsible persons within the medical center.

 

The content
The content covers the communication of services in the health care segment, as well as auxiliary services within the wellness area and personal services. The development of the program, which has been realised by Tv.B, a Milanese media center, is focused on the implementation of qualitative contents for the Digital Signage. It is characterised by contents that are continuously updated by a dedicated editorial staff. They also plan the transmission of entertaining elements, such as film excerpts, quiz, panorama, historical information and the weather.

Benefits and conclusions
The desired main objective is the flexible management of contents. It is realized by the simple implementation of updates, thanks to the web-based interface, but also by the competition and the independence of the competing advertising maker. The latter is made possible by the multi-user and multi-role structure of Web Signage.

Interoperability of data

The approach of the interoperability of Web Signage is enabled by the communication standard XML. It makes it possible to implement information published on the center’s webpage for the creation of messages. The consolidation of the data on the portal and the displays is done automatically and in real-time. The communication of the multi platform is created and published without any additional efforts.

Integrated CMS

The features of the CMS module were integrated Web Signage in order to meet the requirements of updates for structured data. They enable the operators of the center to apply the information and to update it effortless and in real-time. For this purpose they use a specially created account and internet access.
