Every player can be connected to an external video source (usually a set top box or a digital terrestrial television decoder) in order to show the video input on the stage instead of the scheduled contents. The ticker and widgets will be displayed along with the video.
Using the video input configuration is possible to program the days of week and the switch on/off times for the video input.
In order to display correctly the video input on the stage, the video source must be active and correctly configured (refer to the Web Signage Player and video source hardware documentation) when switched on.

To program the video input, check the players desired on the list. Many players can be configured at the same time.

Clicking on the On check box the video input will be turned on at the time specified (15:00 in the example) and turned off at the time specified beside the Stop label (16:45 in the example). The Days check boxes are used to set the days of the week with the video input turned on (Sundays only in the example).
Click on Save to store your settings, the previous settings will be overwritten. Note that the player will download the new settings according with its refresh interval.
